Program Structure

Highlighting faith-based training and international mission opportunities.

Level 1 – Foundations (40 hrs)

Biblical theology of chaplaincy • Pastoral presence & listening • Cultural humility • Ethics & confidentiality • Spiritual first aid • Crisis basics • Hebrew care motifs (ḥesed/shalom; bikur ḥolim), early church diaconal patterns (Acts 6).

Level 3 – Specializations (choose one, 40–60 hrs)

Hospital & Clinical (rounds, family conferencing, end-of-life)

Correctional & Reentry (restorative pathways, staff care)

Educational (K-12/HigherEd) (resilience, crisis response)

Corporate/Workplace (confidential counseling, ethics)

Missions & Disaster (CISM, multi-agency coordination)

Level 2 – Clinical & Institutional Skills (60 hrs)

Grief & loss care • Trauma-informed ministry • Charting & referrals • Boundaries & mandated reporting • Hospital/clinical onboarding • Correctional protocols • School settings.
Compliance: HIPAA (health), PREA (corrections), FERPA (education) — orientation & case simulations.

Level 4 – Leadership & Supervision (40 hrs)

Team leadership • Case supervision • Quality assurance • Program design • Ethics board simulations.

Practicum & Supervision
100–200 field hours in approved sites + group/1:1 supervision (ratio 1:6). Reflective practice (CPE-inspired), OSCE-style simulations, case logs.

Learning Outcomes

  • Deliver competent spiritual & emotional care in crisis/ordinary time.
  • Operate within institutional standards (HIPAA/PREA/FERPA; site policies).
  • Integrate Scripture with evidence-informed chaplaincy and historic care from Second Temple/Jewish/early-church sources.
  • Demonstrate cultural humility and measurable impact.

Credentials

RTIM Certificates (L1–L4). If your organization requires third-party accreditation, contact us for current partnerships. (Avoid “internationally recognized” unless we link to a specific accreditor.)

Admissions & Requirements

Background check • Pastoral/organizational reference • Code of conduct • Interview • Agreement to confidentiality & boundaries.

Mission Intensives (Optional)

2–10 days: hospitals, shelters, corrections, disaster-response partners. ICS/NIMS orientation for deployments.
